I recently purchased this piece of furniture from Fox Den Boutique. The craftsmanship and build quality of the piece are as expected. One detail that was not shared during the purchase was the piece is actually made in Mexico. While I do believe artisanship knows no borders, I was expecting a piece made in America. There are a few details that I would change if I had known beforehand. I expected the drawers to be built to fill the available space and I found d that they are approximately 5 inches shorter than their potential. This is a significant loss of storage and was a big disappointment. Also, the finish on the toe kick doesn’t match the rest of the piece. That lack of detail makes the toe kick stand out. The last detail is the torching of the wood. This is uneven and presents as an uneven finish throughout.
