Meet The Alto!
A large, double sink vanity with matching tower. This vanity is made from 100% reclaimed wood that comes from old barns and corrals in Mexico. The wood is sanded down to a smooth finish and then stained using our own unique stain. We then wax the furniture with a paste wax that enhances the color of the wood. The inside of the cabinets have two small drawers and one shelf.The top has a coat of polyurethane to protect the wood from water damage.

I have been dealing with Foxden Décor for a few weeks in regards to this product. I placed the order and all questions I have had, has been answered professionally in a timely manner. My Vanity should be completed soon as stated by Fox Den Décor. I cannot wait to see the finished product in my Bathroom 🙂 Will add photos once this has been done.

Love the look of the vanity, however….
The vanity looks great. However, the two front doors will not open and close properly because they are too tight (in other words, to big for the opening). I am going to have to get someone to shave them down. Also, some of the interior drawers are hard to open. So, I guess they will have to be shaved as well.

The doors and drawers were to large for opening so we had to sand it down and restain. Nice but too pricey for what you get.

made of crappy wood. There are several splits and cracks in the wood. I understand it is reclaimed wood but it is not very good wood and the back is just plywood and no stain applied to the back with made in Mexico written in black ink

I’m in love with this piece. It’s antique/rustic appearance gives my bathroom a warm calming aura. It goes well with everything I bought from Houzz. I will post photos once I get everything together. The product and its description is % true to what the website showed and described. I am very satisfied 🙂

Did not meet expectations for a custom made piece. I had to critique through the process and still recieved both the vanity and the tower with numerous problems that weren’t shown in the vague pictures I recieved. Screw heads showing on both sides of tower, inside only partially stained, door latch that doesn’t work correctly on vanity and a hinge with only one screw holding it on tower. The vanity has been installed but the tower still sits because we either do it all correctly ourselves like it should have been done before being shipped or we just throw it out! Clearly, there’s no pride in the workmanship of their pieces. One would think after spending that much and waiting 5 months to have both pieces that they would be perfect. This review is where it stops because frankly, I’ve dealt with the excuses long enough.
RESPONSE: We’re so sorry the tower you received had these issues! All of our pieces go through multiple, rigorous quality check’s before we ship them, so we aren’t sure how your tower could have missed those quality checks. We would be happy to build a replacement and send it out so you can have a tower to match your beautiful vanity!
