We purchased a Jordyn vanity, two copper sinks, a mirror and a custom-made top for a planter in our master bath that we wanted to cover. We love the look of everything. However, we have had quite a few issues with wood swelling following installation. We were told that the swelling probably occurred during the few weeks the unit was in our garage prior to installation. However, it has continued to happen now that the unit is in our air-conditioned bathroom. We continue to have to sand various parts of the cabinet doors and drawers to try to get them to open and close properly. Of course, this means that we will also have to re-stain these areas. I am also concerned that, only a few months in, it looks like the vanity top is starting to fade in a couple of areas, even though it was supposedly water-sealed. So I anticipate having to re-sand and stain those sooner than expected (I was told in email to expect to do this about once a year to maintain the waterproofing). Anyway, the bottom line is that the unit is solid and beautiful to look at, but the functioning and ongoing need for us to address issues after installation leave quite a bit to be desired. So I don’t know if the wood was not properly treated prior to installation or what. If they are selling to a certain climate (we live in St. Louis), the wood should be able to handle that climate. To their credit, Fox Den has been responsive to my emails throughout our troubles and also issued us a partial credit. I’m just not sure whether, had I known what an ordeal it would be, I would go down this path again.

Vanity Double Sink
The double vanity arrived damaged, and while the manufacturer offered a 10-percent discount…over the months drawers do no open evenly/smoothly and cabinet doors are literally disintegrating. I have to hire a furniture repair person to rebuild the cabinet doors and replace the original ones provided by the manufacturer. I still need to purchase three more vanities for three separate bathrooms. I absolutely will not be ordering from this manufacturer!

Drawers and Doors Don’t Open and Handles are Rusty
I ordered this for our master bathroom. THE GOOD: It’s BEAUTIFUL to look at. THE BAD: We are doing a whole house remodel and addition of a new master bedroom that extended the length of our master bathroom to accommodate a double vanity. We received the vanity in July 2017. Unfortunately, our contractor decided to use drugs and alcohol and our remodel went south. Failed inspections, improper construction, you name it. This caused us to have to find another contractor. We decided to keep this boxed up in the bathroom until it was ready to be installed so it wasn’t damaged. Unfortunately when we unboxed it to install it, we were now in March 2018. Clearly too long to return the item. We went to open the doors and drawers and could not get them open. I had my foot on the vanity pulling as hard as I could, same with the doors. Then we discovered the “rusty” looking handles really are rusty and they leave rust on your fingers/hands! My husband finally got the doors and drawers open, but we will have to sand them all down to work properly. We got screwed all the way around with this one (bum item and bum contractor) costly lesson. We’ve decided not to use it in the bathroom and have to find another vanity. Very disappointing.

I had a hole in the side. The drawers don’t open very well and the doors stick and are hard to shut . For what the price was i was kinda of disappointed.

Rustic Vanity
This vanity is EXTREMELY rustic! The drawers are sticky and don’t glide, the loop handles are rusty, and the countertop feels like it is not sealed. However, we tested it by dripping some water on it and the water actually pools up and does not leave marks. We just installed copper glass vessels and it all looks very good. We’ve received great responses and reactions. I am just not certain about the longevity of the seal.

Disappointing
Several things: -production longer than 6 weeks, with no communication initiated by seller -item is made in Mexico -item arrived so oversprayed (not hand rubbed) with oil that 3 hours was spend wiping down the excess, cleaning the drawer hardware, etc. item could not be installed for 2 weeks to allow the small to dissipate (not sure what was oil was used and how toxic it could be) -sent this information to FoxDen and received no reply or acknowledgement item was well packaged for delivery. item is of ok quality.

Beautiful
I absolutely LOVE this piece of furniture! It is sturdy and well made. My only complaint is that the description said that it had a clear coat of polyurethane to protect it, but it did not. The stain rubbed off on hands and clothing to the touch. I had to put the clear coat on myself. They promptly offered me a small refund for the hassle, which was greatly appreciated.
